SUNDAY 21st September

Eyam, Bretton Clough and Eyam Moor 9.3 miles

Another walk from David in Derbyshire This one started in the fascinating plague village of Eyam and then went on to Foolow. The path climbs to Eyam Edge followed by the wooded valley of Bretton Clough and then through some outstandingly attractive countryside. Their return to Eyam was via Highlow Brook and the heathery expanses of Eyam Moor. The walk took in some magnificent views, with wooded valleys and open moorland.

Brigid commented: We were very lucky with the weather and had brilliant views.
