The Lincoln Ridge 5.4 miles
Pauline led a large group of us on a circular walk taking in Navenby, Coleby and Boothby Graffoe. It was a beautiful warm spring day. Absolutely perfect to enjoy the spectacular views along the Lincoln ridge.

Saxondale and Newton 6 miles
Maggie led this walk starting from Main Street, Saxondale. They made their way, in intermittent sunshine, across the railway and on to Newton. The village which was once the site of an RAF camp has now seen some modern housing development. They took a coffee stop and visited both the new and old parts of the village. They returned along the bridleway beside the A46, with a detour across the footbridge for a lunch stop on the outskirts of Bingham. The walk was mainly flat with no stiles,

SUNDAY 13th April
Winkburn Plateau 5.9 miles.
James led a group of sixteen on a figure of eight walk starting from the picnic area above the village of Maplebeck. They enjoyed extensive views over the Nottinghamshire countryside from the plateau between Winkburn and Eakring.
