Whisby Tunman Woods 4.5 miles
Roy led this short walk from Whisby visitor centre to Tunman Wood and back. There were opportunities to spot birds and wildlife in the nature reserve.

Bilsthorpe Eakring 7.2 miles
A sunny day for our figure of eight walk from Bilsthorpe to Eakring. An undulating route with several steeper sections. Roger led the way up Bungalow Lane and into Brail Wood where we found bluebells just coming into flower. After a coffee stop, we continued past the Wind Farm and Eco Houses into Eakring. A loop around Eakring to find our lunch stop in the Children’s playground. A leisurely break in glorious sunshine Our return route took us uphill out of the village before once again crossing Brail Wood and back via an alternative route into Bilsthorpe.

SUNDAY 6th April
Rave around Ravenshead 7.5 miles.
Jim led this varied and undulating walk from The Little John pub, heading into ancient Sherwood Forest, where there were tales of Robin Hood. The walk also took in both Harlow and Thieves woods, and Newstead Abbey Park, where lunch was taken.
Just a few stiles, and very little mud.
