Farnsfield and Robin Hood Hill 7 miles
A varied walk led by Caroline from Farnsfield to Robin Hood Hill and back along well-trodden field and forest paths and country lanes. There were several short ascents, including one through Combs wood, on the way to the top but well worth it when they got there. There is a bench dedicated to veteran Notts Rambler Geoff Rix and 360-degree views of Nottinghamshire landscape to admire.

WEDNESDAY 4th September
Fulbeck 5.5 miles
Colin led a group of 19 of us on a circular walk from Fulbeck. Although the sky was very overcast, the views across the landscape were spectacular with beautiful autumnal colours. There were also plenty of blackberries and apples to be gathered along the way.
Jacqui commented : “The walk through the field of flowers was amazing . It was a lovely walk”
