Denton 5 miles

A very pleasant circular walk, through pretty countryside and along the Grantham canal.  Carol led the way starting from near the church in Denton Village, heading to Harlaxton. A coffee stop at Harlaxton Church returning to Denton Reservoir for a picnic stop.

WEDNESDAY 23rd October

Trent Trail 5.5 miles

This walk followed the Trent from Gunthorpe to Hoveringham then circled back via Caythorpe. Views across the river to Trent Hills and Toot Hill.

Rolleston, Upton and Micklebarrow Hill 7 miles

Dave led a large group on this walk. It started from Rolleston church and took a gentle climb to Upton passing Southwell Racecourse and Golf Course on the way. From Upton they went further north exploring woods and hills around Kelham. The return included a climb up Micklebarrow Hill, returning via Upton to Rolleston.
