The Newark Ramblers group was formed in 1971 and organises a walk almost every Sunday and Wednesday.
WHY NOT JOIN US AND GET OUT IN THE COUNTRYSIDE

You do not need to join straight away just come and give us a try. A warm welcome is guaranteed. Newark Ramblers are a group within the Ramblers Association whose mission is to have a country where everyone enjoys the outdoors on foot and benefits from the experience. Our walks are at a leisurely pace, mostly within 20 miles of Newark and between 4 and 10 miles long. Our members are from a wide area including many from Southwell. The shorter walks are done at a leisurely pace which is ideal for new walkers. We also arrange coach or train trips for walking farther afield and, from time to time, we arrange short walking breaks.
We are now on Facebook! Check out the page and 'like' what you see!

Apart from walking, the group has a very active programme of social events throughout the year.
Newark Ramblers is part of the national Ramblers Association, a charitable organisation dedicated to the preservation of our national network of public footpaths and to the encouragement of walking as a leisure activity. There are many advantages to being a member, including cut-price walking holidays and discounts on walking equipment.
If you're not already a member why not come and join us for a walk as a guest?
You will be made most welcome.
